Lady M: Teak Restoration

I had to kick up restoration production a bit.

Forward berthing deck and flybridge deck were sanded 3x over with up to 220 grit.

I’m using Sikkens Cetol (Natural Teak color). I’ve heard great things about this product specifically the touch up/recoating process versus the maintenance-intensive counterpart….. varnish. I used a long hair chip brush for application so that it would penetrate the wood grain as best it could. I thought about thinning the product for better saturation but I’m not too sure how well Cetol would react with a solvent.

This is the first coat of three to be applied.
