Lady M: Forward Hatch Rebuild

I used my favorite sealant (Sikaflex 295) to seal the edges and the screw holes/finish washers. Primed and painted the frame, then reinstalled.

The old hatch was pretty rough looking and leaked through the v-berth overhead.. I contracted an acrylics store to build a custom 1/2”thick, tinted, acrylic plate made with beveled edges. I provided them dimensions for a 1/16” overhang on the wood frame for less leakage opportunities.
